Beach Bag Essentials

I don't know about you, but my summer days are spent mostly at the beach. How you pack your beach bag really determines how much you'll be able to enjoy the beach. I've come to think I pack the essentials for my beach day since my favorite beach is 15 minutes away from my house and it costs 15$ to park at the beach so leaving and going back are really not an option if I forget something.
If you need some ideas of what to put in your beach bag, well, here you go! I am childless so if you do have a child/children, your bag might look a lot different but, if you're a 26 year old girl who only has to care for herself and dog, your beach bag might look a little like mine.
Sunscreen is my most important item in my beach bag since I burn the second I step outside. I recently discovered how important chapstick with SPF in it was and this Sun Bum chapstick in the mango flavor is amazing.
A good book and my phone charger are also key to a good beach day. I could read a whole book while sitting at the beach but also ned to make sure I can keep my phone charged while away from home. My new sun hat and sunglasses have been so amazing for keeping the sun out of my eyes while I read and scroll throw my phone.
One thing I've learned to bring to the beach is a hair brush and scrunchies. Let's be honest girls, we go to the beach with our hair looking all nice and after 5 minutes, its a mess from the wind. Always be prepared to put it back. Lastly, a good snack and a Truly make the best beach day but don't forget the water for those really hot days. The beach bag I linked has an insulated bottom so there's no need to bring an extra cooler!
I've linked everything I use in my beach bag below. Happy shopping!
